Beach Chalets
Four spacious and luxurious wooden chalets are located right on the beach. They have been erected on stilts to cause minimal impact on the environment. Through their large windows and glass fronts all of them offer an unhindered view on Lake Malawi and the back country.
Furniture and decorations have been carefully crafted by the local villagers, pillows and curtains with traditional African patterns were sewn by the local tailor.
From the spacious en-suite bathroom, and even standing under the shower, guests have a full view over lake and savannah.
The verandah is the perfect place from which to enjoy the spectacular daily sunset over the hills of Malawi on the opposite side of the lake.
Brick Bungalows
Four large traditional brick bungalows are situated about 50m inland amongst bush land and baobab trees. They are arranged around a cozy courtyard and offer the same comfort as the wooden chalets with the exception of an external private shower hidden in the bush under the open sky. Each bungalow has its own stony terrace facing the bush.
Cob House
This spacious earthen chalet has its own private area with a front verandah directly to the beach and the back of the house with sleeping area and bathroom tucked into the dense bush.
Photovoltaic panels and and solar water boilers provide all chalets and bush bungalows with hot water and electricity.
