Welcome to Mbuna Bay
Mbuna Bay is located in northern Mozambique, on the shores of Lake Niassa (Lake Malawi). It is the only lodge on the southern stretch of the Mozambican lake coast. Despite its remote location, at about 15 km south of the Lago District’s capital Metangula, it is easily accessible.
The lodge is situated directly on a beautiful 300m stretch of white sandy beach and marvellous rocky bays and is surrounded by original bush land with huge mango and baobab trees.
With only nine guest chalets Mbuna Bay offers its visitors peace, tranquility and first class comfort in an authentic African environment.
